Cover Supervisor Role – Blackpool
A Secondary school in Blackpool is seeking a strong Cover Supervisor to start ASAP on a long term basis, running till July 2025 and possibly leading to a permanent role within this popular school.
The school are looking for a Cover supervisor to work under the guidance of teaching staff and the Cover Manager, to support pupils in and out of the classroom, including the supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teachers.
Each candidate applying will have excellent communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and ideally will have some school experience, or a background working with young people in a teaching, training or coaching environment. Previous classroom experience will be an advantage.
Both Non Teachers and qualified teachers are welcome to apply.

You will need –

– The ability to manage a classroom of 25+ students
You will be required to already have, or undergo a fully enhanced DBS check, which we can provide. We ask all our candidates to undergo safeguarding training and we will perform background checks
