We are looking to recruit Secondary School Teaching Assistants and cover supervisors to join school teams around the surrounding areas of Blackpool & Fylde. This exciting opportunity would include assisting with lesson plans, providing extra assistance to students, and recording and reporting a students progress to the teacher. As a successful candidate, you will be dedicated to providing a safe and happy classroom, where students are supported to achieve to the best of their ability.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the classroom for lessons and tidying it up afterwards
• Safeguarding all students
• Providing extra assistance to students with special needs
• Recording and reporting students progress to the teacher
• Motivating and encouraging students
• Supervising students during school trips or activities
• Attending meetings

Requirements

• Previous experience working in childcare or adult care
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to complete a new DBS (we can do this for you)
• Be passionate about working with students and be determined to make sure that their learning experience is as comfortable and positive as possible
• Tailoring your approach to the individual needs of children where necessary
